These units allow extra fuel pump options. The factory fuel pump control module limits pressure during wide open throttle driving. These will allow higher fuel pressure with the right ECM tuning. These FPCMs are refurbished to keep cost down A new FPCM is pretty expensive from GM. These units being refurbished may show some signs of wear, but all units are tested for proper operation and carry a 1 year replacement warranty. I typically carry these for the Eco model cars that have active shutters. When you install an intercooler system this will remove the active shutters from the grill. The bonus is running the new fuel pump control module can unlock extra horse power.
