One question I get asked all the time is where do I start with my mods?

Budget aside the first few mods I would add to your 2016.5-2019 CRUZE would be the PCV reroute, upgraded wastegate, and a cold air intake.

Here's why. For starters the intake system on these cars are very restrictive. Plus once you change the intake you get to hear some cool turbo spooling sounds! Who doesn't love that? NOTE: I use either K&N or AEM for the CAI. Which ever one fits the kit budget is the one I will send with your order. 

Next thing should be an upgraded wastegate. The OEM wastegate on these cars are very weak and will not last longer than 20,000 miles or so. Most customers think the CRUZE is very slow and sluggish. This is typically because the turbo is only making about 5-10 PSI when it has the ability to make upwards of 18 PSI on a stock tune.  When the OEM wastegate is weak the turbo will not spool properly. BTW if your car is tuned I can set the wastegate upwards of 40 PSI if you wish. I do not recommend over 22 PSI unless you are trying to build power from your cruze. In that case you have the understanding that with adding HP comes reduce liability. Always keep that in mind.  

Lastly and most importantly the Catch Canister and PCV re-route. The gen 2 CRUZE has a better PCV system then the GEN 1 cruze but it is still flawed in it's design. It does a great job is evacuating the crankcase of the engine but the issue is how much oil it dumps into the turbo, intercooler system, intake system and the valves. The PCV system also causes a drone/gurgle noise which is very loud an annoying. The kit will re-route the PCV system and kill that noise allowing you to keep your intake system and components clean. 

NOTE: I added an option to order the kit with a performance diverter. The diverter is another upgrade that I would recommend if someone had a budget to afford it with the kit. If you are starting  to push your boost above 20 PSI the OEM diverter cannot handle that mush boost. You will have to upgrade your diverter in order to hold the additional boost.
